Description

These Sheet Pan Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a perfect blend of spicy buffalo sauce, creamy ranch, and cheesy goodness served on soft Hawaiian rolls. Easy to prepare and baked on a single sheet pan, these sliders make an ideal appetizer or party snack that’s bursting with flavor and sure to be crowd-pleasers.

Ingredients

Chicken Mixture

  • 3 1/2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken preferred)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (such as Franks)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • Pinch of black pepper

Cheese

  • 2 cups low moisture mozzarella cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly shredded

Rolls and Topping

  • 12 count King’s Hawaiian Rolls
  • 4 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix Chicken Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, honey, minced garlic, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed and the chicken is well-coated.
  3. Prepare Rolls: Carefully slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Spread the sauced chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Next, sprinkle both the freshly grated mozzarella and shredded Parmesan cheeses evenly over the chicken layer. Optionally, layer cheese, then chicken, then more cheese to lock in the chicken.
  5. Add the Tops: Place the top halves of the rolls gently over the cheese layer to complete each slider.
  6. Prepare Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic salt. Brush most of this butter mixture generously on the top rolls, leaving some to brush after baking for a glossy finish.
  7. Bake Covered: Cover the sliders loosely with aluminum foil to keep moisture in. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the filling is hot throughout.
  8. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to let the tops get slightly golden and crisp.
  9. Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Optionally, brush the remaining butter mixture on top for an extra shiny, flavorful finish. Cut apart and serve warm for best enjoyment.
