Description

This Ninja Creami Protein Milkshake recipe combines creamy oat milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla protein powder to create a delicious and nutritious milkshake. Utilizing the Ninja Creami machine, this protein-packed treat is thick, creamy, and perfect for a quick healthy snack or post-workout boost.

Ingredients

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups oat milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

Milkshake Add-Ins

  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons chocolate syrup (lower-sugar or sugar-free option preferred)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the Ice Cream Base: In a bowl, thoroughly whisk together oat milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and vanilla protein powder until smooth and well combined to form the ice cream base mixture.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the ice cream base into a Ninja Creami pint container, seal it with the lid, and freeze for 12-24 hours until fully frozen and solid.
  3. Process the Milkshake: Remove the lid from the frozen pint, add 1/2 cup oat milk and 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup to the container, then attach it to the Ninja Creami machine and spin using the milkshake setting.
  4. Stir and Re-spin: After the initial spin, remove the pint, stir the mixture thoroughly to combine, then reattach and spin again on the milkshake setting to achieve a thick and creamy milkshake consistency.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: The milkshake will be thick but melts quickly into a creamy texture when served. Enjoy immediately as a delicious protein-rich treat.

Notes

  • Tip: Swap oat milk for soy milk to achieve a creamier texture with higher protein content.
  • Store: Any leftovers can be returned to the Ninja Creami pint container and stored in the freezer for up to one week.
  • Serve: For best texture after freezing, allow the milkshake to sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes, add a tablespoon of milk, and respin on the milkshake setting before serving.
