Description

Mohabbat Ka Sharbat is a refreshing and aromatic watermelon rose drink that combines juicy watermelon cubes with chilled milk, fragrant rose syrup, and a hint of cardamom. Perfect for hot weather, this drink is served cold with ice and garnished elegantly with rose petals and mint leaves, offering a delightful balance of fruity sweetness and floral notes.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Watermelon, diced
  • 2 cups Cold Milk
  • 3 tablespoon Rooh Afza Syrup (rose syrup)
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 20 Ice Cubes

For Garnish

  • Edible Rose Petals (optional)
  • Mint Leaves (optional)
  • Watermelon Slices

Instructions

  1. Prepare Watermelon: Chop the watermelon into small cubes and keep them ready for mixing.
  2. Mix Liquids: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold milk, Rooh Afza syrup, sugar (if using), and cardamom powder. Stir well to blend all the flavors.
  3. Add Ice Cubes: Add the ice cubes to the rose milk mixture to chill the drink thoroughly.
  4. Combine with Watermelon: Add the finely chopped watermelon to the mixture and gently mix everything together.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Pour the sharbat into tall serving glasses. Garnish with edible rose petals—fresh or dried—as well as watermelon chunks and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

  • Adding sugar is optional. You may substitute it with honey or maple syrup according to your preference.
  • Use full-fat milk for the best creamy texture and flavor. For a vegan alternative, substitute with coconut milk, almond milk, or cashew milk.
  • If Rooh Afza syrup is unavailable, use any rose syrup of your choice or add rose essence to enhance the floral aroma.
