Instructions
- Prepare Watermelon: Chop the watermelon into small cubes and keep them ready for mixing.
- Mix Liquids: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold milk, Rooh Afza syrup, sugar (if using), and cardamom powder. Stir well to blend all the flavors.
- Add Ice Cubes: Add the ice cubes to the rose milk mixture to chill the drink thoroughly.
- Combine with Watermelon: Add the finely chopped watermelon to the mixture and gently mix everything together.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the sharbat into tall serving glasses. Garnish with edible rose petals—fresh or dried—as well as watermelon chunks and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately while cold.
Notes
- Adding sugar is optional. You may substitute it with honey or maple syrup according to your preference.
- Use full-fat milk for the best creamy texture and flavor. For a vegan alternative, substitute with coconut milk, almond milk, or cashew milk.
- If Rooh Afza syrup is unavailable, use any rose syrup of your choice or add rose essence to enhance the floral aroma.
