Description
Mini S’mores Pies are delightful individual treats combining rich brownie batter baked in mini graham cracker crusts, topped with melty chocolate chips and puffed mini marshmallows for a nostalgic campfire flavor in a convenient handheld size.
Ingredients
Brownie Base
- 1 package of your favorite brownie mix
- Ingredients required by the brownie mix (usually eggs, oil, and water)
Crust and Toppings
- 8 mini graham cracker crusts
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the package directions or your homemade brownie recipe to prepare the brownie batter, ensuring it has a smooth, pourable consistency.
- Fill Graham Cracker Crusts: Place the 8 mini graham cracker crusts on a large baking sheet. Spoon the brownie batter into each crust, filling them to about 3/4 full to allow room for rising but do not fill to the very top.
- Bake Brownie Pies: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Add Toppings: Remove the pies from the oven. Evenly sprinkle each pie with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
- Finish Baking: Return the topped pies to the oven and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to puff and lightly brown.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the mini s’mores pies to cool on the baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before serving to set and avoid burning your mouth with the hot marshmallows.
Notes
- Do not overfill the graham cracker crusts to prevent overflowing during baking.
- Use mini marshmallows for even melting and a classic s’mores texture.
- Chocolate chips can be substituted with chunks of milk, dark, or white chocolate based on preference.
- Let pies cool sufficiently as hot marshmallow toppings can be very sticky and hot.
- These pies can be prepared in advance and stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
