Description

Indulge in a deliciously gooey and crispy treat with these Grilled S’mores Dessert Quesadillas. Combining the classic flavors of Nutella, marshmallows, and graham crackers, these quesadillas are grilled to golden perfection, offering a warm, melty, and crunchy dessert that’s perfect for summer cookouts or anytime you crave a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Extra large flour tortillas
  • 3/4 cup Nutella or chocolate spread
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

For the Coating

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened, room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup graham crackers, finely crushed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tortilla base: Place each flour tortilla on a cutting board or plate. Generously spread Nutella over each tortilla, then evenly top with mini marshmallows for a gooey chocolate-marshmallow layer.
  2. Fold and butter: Fold each tortilla in half to form a semicircle. Spread softened butter over the outside of the folded tortilla to prepare for grilling.
  3. Apply coating and grill first side: Press the buttered side of the tortilla into a mixture of brown sugar and finely crushed graham crackers. Place the tortilla with the graham cracker side down onto a medium heat grill or skillet to cook. This creates a sweet, crunchy crust.
  4. Butter and coat the other side: While the first side cooks, butter the other side of the quesadilla and repeat the process by pressing it into the brown sugar and graham cracker mixture to evenly coat.
  5. Flip and cook second side: Once the first side turns golden and crisp, carefully flip the quesadilla and grill the other side for an additional 2 minutes until equally golden and crispy.
  6. Serve immediately: Remove the quesadillas from heat and serve warm. For an extra indulgent treat, add a scoop of ice cream on top.

Notes

  • Use medium heat to avoid burning the sugar coating while ensuring marshmallows melt perfectly.
  • If you don’t have graham crackers, you can substitute with digestive biscuits or similar cookies.
  • Serve these quesadillas immediately to enjoy the melted marshmallows and crispy sugar crust at their peak.
  • Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top elevates the dessert to an even more decadent experience.
