Description

Banana Pudding Truffles are a delightful bite-sized treat combining the creamy richness of cream cheese and ripe bananas with the crunch of vanilla wafers and banana chips, all coated in smooth white chocolate. These easy no-bake truffles are perfect for parties or a sweet snack, delivering a nostalgic banana pudding flavor in an elegant, fun form.

Ingredients

Base

  • 11 ounces vanilla wafers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas

Topping & Coating

  • 20 banana chips
  • 8 ounces white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Place the vanilla wafers in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Add the softened cream cheese and mashed ripe bananas to the processor. Pulse until the mixture forms a stiff, uniform batter.
  2. Form the Truffles: Scoop the batter into small balls approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. Arrange the balls on a tray and freeze them for 15 minutes to firm up.
  3. Melt the Chocolate: While the truffle balls are freezing, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler on the stovetop, stirring gently until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Dip the Truffles: Remove the frozen truffle balls from the freezer. Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate to coat completely, then place them carefully on parchment paper.
  5. Add Topping: Immediately press a banana chip onto the top of each dipped truffle to decorate and add texture.
  6. Set the Chocolate: Place the coated truffles back into the refrigerator until the chocolate has fully set, about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve: Once set, serve your banana pudding truffles chilled for a creamy, crunchy, and chocolaty delight.

Notes

  • Use bananas that are ripe but still firm to maintain texture and avoid excess moisture.
  • Freeze the truffle balls for 10 to 15 minutes to make them easier to dip without freezing them solid.
  • Customize decoration using your favorite candies or toppings in place of banana chips for variety.
