Description

A quick and delicious recipe for crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Perfect as a healthy snack or a flavorful side dish, this recipe uses minimal oil and cooks quickly in the air fryer for a perfect tender-crisp texture with a hint of smokiness.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 head Cauliflower (cut into florets)

Seasonings & Oils

  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and allow it to warm up for a few minutes to ensure even cooking.
  2. Prepare the cauliflower: Place the cauliflower florets into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over them, then sprinkle smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss well to evenly coat each floret with the oil and spices.
  3. Arrange in the air fryer basket: Place the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding by cooking in batches if needed to ensure proper browning and crispiness.
  4. Cook the cauliflower: Air fry the cauliflower for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of the florets. About halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket to toss the florets and promote even browning all around.
  5. Check and serve: When the cauliflower edges turn golden brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer. Serve immediately as a tasty and healthy side or snack.

Notes

  • Cut the cauliflower into similar-sized florets for even cooking.
  • Preheating the air fryer helps achieve a crispier texture.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket to allow hot air circulation around each piece.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste; you can add cayenne pepper for heat or nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.
  • This recipe can be doubled but cook in batches to maintain crispiness.
