Description

Strawberry Bubble Milk Tea is a sweet, creamy, and refreshing drink that combines fresh strawberry syrup, creamy milk tea, and chewy tapioca pearls. This vibrant twist on the classic bubble tea offers a delightful balance of fruity sweetness and creamy goodness, making it the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

2 tablespoons sugar (or more to taste)

1 cup brewed black tea (or green tea)

1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free milk like almond or oat milk)

1/4 cup tapioca pearls (boba)

12 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk or regular sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)

Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tapioca pearls: Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Typically, this involves boiling them in water for about 5-7 minutes, then letting them sit for a few minutes. Once cooked, drain the pearls and set them aside.
  2. Make the strawberry syrup: In a blender, blend the chopped strawberries and sugar until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove the seeds, if you prefer a smooth strawberry syrup.
  3. Brew the tea: Brew your black or green tea and let it cool to room temperature. If you’d like, add sweetened condensed milk or sugar at this point to make the tea extra sweet.
  4. Assemble the drink: In a tall glass, add a handful of cooked tapioca pearls to the bottom. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
  5. Add the strawberry syrup and milk: Pour the strawberry syrup into the glass, followed by the milk. Add the brewed tea, then stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately with a straw, and enjoy the refreshing, creamy goodness of your homemade Strawberry Bubble Milk Tea!

Notes

You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren’t available.

Feel free to try different fruit variations like mango, blueberry, or peach for a unique bubble tea flavor.

For a dairy-free option, use almond, oat, or coconut milk and skip the sweetened condensed milk.
