Description
Pina Colada Milkshakes are a creamy, indulgent treat that combines the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut milk with vanilla ice cream. This refreshing milkshake brings a taste of the tropics in every sip.
Ingredients
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
1 cup coconut milk (or coconut cream for a richer taste)
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, for added sweetness)
Ice cubes (optional, if using fresh pineapple)
Pineapple slices and maraschino cherries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend the ingredients: In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, coconut milk, vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, and honey or sugar (if using). If you’re using fresh pineapple, add a handful of ice cubes to help thicken the milkshake.
- Blend until smooth: Blend the ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the milkshake is too thick, add a little more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Serve: Pour the pina colada milkshake into tall glasses, garnish with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry on top for a festive touch.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the tropical, creamy goodness of this pina colada milkshake!
Notes
For a thicker milkshake, use frozen pineapple and add more ice cream.
For a lighter version, swap out the ice cream for frozen yogurt or Greek yogurt.
For an alcoholic version, add rum to make it a boozy treat.
