Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, honey, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until smooth. Fold in finely ground lavender.
  5. Divide batter evenly among cupcake liners and bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. Make the frosting: Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, then mix in honey and enough milk for a fluffy consistency.
