Ingredients
1 cup unsalted roasted pistachios (shelled)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (or finely ground granulated sugar)
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream (add more to adjust consistency)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place roasted pistachios in a food processor and blend until they form a fine, crumbly paste.
- Add powdered sugar, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue blending until combined.
- With the processor running, slowly add heavy cream 1 tablespoon at a time until desired smooth, creamy texture is reached.
- Optional: blend in unsalted butter for added richness.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or honey if desired.
- Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate. Use chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
To make vegan, use coconut cream and dairy-free butter.
