Description

Fluffy, buttery biscuits infused with savory stuffing seasoning. These quick-to-make rolls are golden on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for serving alongside roasted meats or as a standalone comfort snack.


Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon poultry seasoning or stuffing blend

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

3/4 cup milk or buttermilk

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Optional: 1 tablespoon dried parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, poultry seasoning, and any optional spices or herbs.
  3. Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk or buttermilk and stir just until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently pat to ¾-inch thickness.
  6. Cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter or jar lid, without twisting.
  7. Place biscuits close together on baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  8. Brush hot biscuits with melted butter and serve warm.

Notes

Add shredded cheddar or Parmesan for richer flavor.

Substitute buttermilk with yogurt thinned with milk if needed.

Use thyme, sage, and rosemary if no poultry blend is available.

Slice and toast for breakfast sandwiches.

Freeze fully cooled biscuits and reheat in oven directly from frozen.
