Description

Crispy, cheesy baked breadsticks made with pizza dough and seasonings—irresistibly savory and perfect for parties, snacks, or dipping.


Ingredients

1 (8‑oz) tube refrigerated pizza dough

4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese

¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

¼ tsp salt

Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough onto the baking sheet into an 8×12-inch rectangle. Press edges to seal any perforations.
  3. Brush melted butter evenly over the dough.
  4. Mix cheddar and mozzarella, then sprinkle evenly over the dough surface.
  5. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately slice into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip gently.
  8. Return twisted strips to the oven for 3–5 minutes to crisp. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  9. Cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Twisting after baking ensures a crisp texture and prevents tearing.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven to restore crunch.
