Cool Whip Candy is an easy no-bake treat with a fluffy, nougat-like chocolate filling dipped in rich chocolate. Made with just three ingredients, these freezer-friendly bites are indulgent, simple, and perfect for sharing or snacking.
Ingredients
1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips or melting wafers (for coating)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt milk chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between, until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Fold melted chocolate into Cool Whip until fully combined and fluffy.
- Spread mixture evenly into the prepared pan and freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm.
- Remove from freezer, cut into squares, and place back in the freezer for another 30 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate chips or wafers and dip each frozen square to coat.
- Place dipped candies on a parchment-lined tray and let set fully before serving or storing.
Notes
Add crushed peppermint, chopped nuts, or toffee bits to the filling for added texture.
Swirl in peanut butter for a layered flavor twist.
Use white chocolate for the coating or create a marbled look by mixing with dark.
Sprinkle sea salt, sprinkles, or shredded coconut before the coating sets.
Shape mixture into balls instead of squares for truffle-style candy.
