Description
Condensed Milk Lemonade is the perfect summer beverage that combines the tartness of fresh lemon with the creamy sweetness of condensed milk. This refreshing and indulgent drink is ideal for beating the heat on a hot day.
Ingredients
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the lemonade base: In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well to dissolve the condensed milk into the lemon juice.
- Add the water: Pour in the cold water and stir again until everything is fully combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more condensed milk if desired.
- Chill: Add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher to chill the lemonade and give it that refreshing, cold temperature.
- Serve: Pour the lemonade into glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, tangy, and refreshing lemonade!
Notes
This lemonade is best served fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. If the lemonade becomes too sweet after storing, add a little more water and stir before serving.
The ice will melt over time, so it’s recommended to add fresh ice before serving.
