Description

This Brie Apple Flatbread pairs creamy, melty Brie with sweet-tart apple, fresh herbs, and a drizzle of honey on a crisp flatbread crust. Elegant yet easy, it’s perfect for an appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

1 flatbread or raw pizza dough (about 1012 inches)

4 oz Brie cheese, sliced or torn into pieces

1 apple (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji), thinly sliced

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary or thyme

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Optional: 1/2 cup arugula or baby greens


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbread or rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Distribute Brie slices evenly across the surface, leaving a small edge.
  4. Layer thin apple slices over the Brie.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle chopped herbs on top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  7. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup immediately after baking.
  8. Top with arugula or baby greens if desired, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use pears or figs instead of apples for seasonal variation.
